Use it as prescribed by the physician, Canesten Vaginal Tablet should be inserted, preferably at night, into the vagina as deeply as possible (see Directions for Using Applicator under Cautions).

The daily dosage of adults is one vaginal tablet single dose, at bedtime, preferably lying down

Each insert contains 200 mg of clotrimazole and each gram of external cream contains 10 mg of clotrimazole. Nonmedicinal ingredients: adipic acid, benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl esters wax, cornstarch, lactose, magnesium stearate, octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60, polysorbate 80, silicon dioxide, sodium bicarbonate, sorbitan monostearate, stearic acid, and water.

Use of Canesten 0.1G Tab in Pregnancy and lactation

Pregnancy: This medication should not be used during pregnancy unless the benefits outweigh the risks. If you are pregnant and believe this medication is necessary, contact your doctor.

Breast-feeding: It is not known if clotrimazole passes into breast milk. If you are a breast-feeding mother and are using this medication, it may affect your baby. Talk to your doctor about whether you should continue breast-feeding.
